Sharks Pre-Season Camp

The Sharks Pre-Season camp will provide 7.5 hours of ice over four days to help our players get ready for the season. We are very excited to announce our partnership with Pro Stride Skating. In addition to a day of high-intensity skill sessions, this year's pre-season camp will include three days (6 hours) of professional skating instruction powered by Pro Stride Skating.

Ages

Open to all Sharks travel team players including U08 and Sharks Hockey Development Team.

When

Dates/Times: August 19, 21 - 23

1. August 19 - Two groups 9 AM - 12 PM

2. August 21 - Two groups 4 PM-8 PM

3. August 22 - Two groups 4 PM-8 PM

4. August 23 - Two Groups 4 PM-8 PM

NOTE: Final group times are to be published the week of August 14.

Goalie Notes

Goalies will be provided a discount code for a free August 19 session. No goalie coaches will be on the ice for the skill sessions, but this is an opportunity for extra shots to get ready for the season. No goalies will be on the ice for the Pro Stride skating sessions. Separate goalie training mini-camp schedules will be distributed in August.

2023-24 Pre-Season Camp

Pro Stride Elite Skating believes that the foundation of ice hockey is skating, and it is a skill that must be worked on by every player at every age level, including professionals. At Pro Stride, instructors will not just "drill" players and make them go full speed through cones. Their specialty is to TEACH players how to go fast, be quick, be explosive, and be efficient. They will teach players how to do each push and maneuver correctly and then apply it to a game situation so players can practice using the maneuver in a game.
